MTMA Certified Mediators (CM)
MTMA Certified Mediators meet the highest standards in experience and training and agree to uphold the MTMA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Montana Mediation Association’s Certified Mediator designation (CM) is an acknowledged mark of expertise and professionalism. MTMA confers the highly esteemed CM designation only upon the successful completion of an extensive mediation curriculum and substantial experiential requirements.

MTMA Certified Mediators with Family Designation (CM/F)
CM/F Mediators have completed all the requirements to earn MTMA's Certified Mediator designation as well as having attended specialized mediation courses focused on Family Mediation. CM/F Mediators help people resolve disagreements about marriage, separation, divorce, parenting schedules, child support, spousal support, and the division of property. In addition, CM/F Mediators help with elder care matters, the family’s budget, distribution of inherited property, family business succession, and other family matters.

MTMA Certified Mediators with Eldercare Designation (CM/E)
CM/E Mediators have completed all the requirements to earn MTMA's Certified Mediator designation as well as having attended specialized mediation courses focused on Eldercare Mediation. CM/E Mediators can help families resolve disagreements about money and financial matters, decisions involving the aging parent’s abilities and freedoms, caregiving concerns and support, and end-of-life and healthcare decisions.

MTMA Associate Members (AM)
A MTMA Associate Member is any individual or organization interested in furthering the purposes of MTMA, who has been approved for membership, and is current in the payment of annual dues.
