Membership Requirements
Full Membership:
To attain a Full Membership in the Association, the applicant must:
(i) Meet the requirements of the Association's Standards of Practice;
(ii) Subscribe to the Association's Ethical Guidelines for Full Members;
(iii) Be interested in furthering the purposes of the Association;
(iv) Complete a membership application; and
(v) Be current in the payment of annual dues.
Associate Membership:
To attain an Associate Membership in the Association the applicant must:
(i) Be interested in furthering the purposes of the Association;
(ii) Complete a membership application; and
(iii) Be current in the payment of annual dues.
Student Membership:
To attain a Student Membership in the Association, the applicant must:
(i) Be a full-time student interested in mediation;
(ii) Complete a membership application; and
(iii) Be current in the payment of annual dues.
Special Membership Designation:
To qualify for the designation of Family Mediator, the applicant must:
(i) Be a Full Member of the Association;
(ii) Meet the requirements of the Association's Standards of Practice for Family Mediators; and
(iii) Subscribe to the Association's Ethical Guidelines for Family Mediators.
